BOOT UP!  Gower Walking Festival tickets now available

Our annual celebration of Gower is designed to encourage people to appreciate the area’s unique landscape and rich heritage while enjoying the many benefits of walking.

MEET OUR WALK LEADERS: Mike Scott

Mike Scott has worked widely across Wales, the Lakes, and Scotland, but finally came back to Gower in 2009, to work as the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Assistant.

MEET OUR WALK LEADERS: Peter Lewis

Peter Lewis grew up in North Gower, spending many school holidays roaming its paths on foot or by bike. After moving away for college, he returned forty years later to make his home and build his working life in South Gower.

Ursula moved from Somerset to Gower in 2010 and quickly realised she’d found her place.

After studying Ancient History and Archaeology at Birmingham University, Edith Evans came to Swansea in February 1980 to work at the Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust on a contract due to finish at Easter.
