The Gower Heritage Centre is the latest business to sign up to sponsor a Gower Walking Festival Walk.
Located in Parkmill, the Gower Heritage Centre is centred around a fully functioning historic, water-powered flour mill – built in the 12th century. It also includes rural history displays all about the history and heritage of agricultural Gower, together with a poultry park and tea gardens, with the front shop serving teas, coffees, cider and snacks.
Visitors can also enjoy delicious treats from the on-site Little Valley Bakery.
A number of independent craft workshops are based at the Centre, showcasing local makers including Pa-Pa Jewellery, Wayward Pilgrim, We Are Woven and more, offering unique, handcrafted items.
Dogs are welcome (on a lead).
For younger visitors there are mini tractors, diggers and a small soft play area – all undercover. In the grounds of the Mill there is also a larger sand pit with a swing, slides and a play castle to climb on.
It is open every day from 10am to 5pm.
For 2026, The Gower Heritage Centre is sponsoring the following walk:
Three Cliffs Bay, Pennard Castle & Gower Heritage Centre on 9th September.
