Port Eynon: family coastal discovery walk

Join us at Port Eynon for a delightful, easy-going, family friendly, circular stroll designed specifically with little explorers in mind.  All ages welcome.

This gentle adventure swaps long distances for big imaginations as we wander through the coastal landscape at a child’s pace.

Along the way, we’ll pause for a spark of creativity, engaging in a fun, hands-on activity that lets children connect with the natural world around them. It’s the perfect blend of fresh sea air, light exercise, and artistic discovery. An ideal morning out for parents and youngsters to experience the magic of the coast together!

Toilets: Port Eynon Village.
Lunch: People are welcome to bring packed lunch if they wish, there are a number of places people can buy food and drink from too.
Dogs: Due to some children being nervous around dogs, we’ll say no to dogs for this one, apart from guide dogs.
10:30am meet at Port Eynon pay and display to then do an easy going circular walk suitable for families and young children, with a creative activity.

Walk leader Peter Lewis, having grown up in North Gower and returned after forty years, now explores its landscapes through the eyes of a botanist and spiritual practitioner, finding joy in both its subtle natural details and dramatic scenery, whether walking alone or with others throughout the seasons.
