Walk to the Worm

strenuous-icon

Join us on a walk from in front of the National Trust Shop to far end on Worms Head and back. On route we’ll delve into the rich history of Rhossili and the wildlife that lives there.

Once you leave the mainland and traverse the causeway, it’s a challenging walk with steep inclines, long drops, very rugged terrain. You’ll need to scramble up the very last part to reach the top of the Outer head (or you can wait at the bottom) For this reason, it’s not recommended for dogs.

We only have a 5 hour window of opportunity to get over to Worms Head, which makes the walk all the more interesting and challenging. Sturdy footwear is essential. Toilets are available in the National Trust Carpark. Packed lunches are not provided but It’s good to take a snack to enjoy on the Outer Head.
