Circular walk in hills above Pontarddulais. Approx. nine mile moderate hike in this lesser known area that (weather permitting) offers fine views towards Gower, the Bannau Brycheiniog and West Wales. We will see cairns, a trig point, Twr Maggie and evidence of the area’s industrial past. The route mainly follows well-made paths and some open moorland. There will be some steady (and one sharp) ascents and descents. Muddy and exposed in places, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. No stiles. Option of refreshments in local pub at end of walk. Dogs on short leads. Bring a packed lunch and drinks.
