North Gower

The Gower Walking Festival is celebrating this iconic route, around Gower, starting with Penclawdd to Rhossili for part one. The north Gower coast is rugged and full of history. The route is hilly and will take in many different surfaces, including tarmac, footpaths, sand dunes and beaches. It is a long 17-20 mile linear walk (dependent on tide times) with wonderful views over the Loughor estuary, Whitford lighthouse and Rhossili Bay. Good appropriate walking boots or shoes essential with wet weather kit, and walking poles highly recommended. Each walker should bring 2l water and lunch. Café at end of walk. We will be offering return transport from the end point to starting point for a nominal fee.
