Gower Walking Festival

Annual Celebration of Gower

Penwyllt, Opera and Swansea’s Industrial Past

moderate-icon

This is a 6-mile walk, starting from Craig y Nos, the former home of Adelina Patti, one of the most famous Opera singers in the world in the late 1800s. We then walk up to the little hamlet Penwyllt to look at the Industrial past of the Swansea Valley.

We will walk along the old tramlines and railway tracks that have been reclaimed by nature. We then circle back and make our way back to Craig y Nos, via a local farm and through the Country Park.
