Starting from near the steps down to Caswell beach, the walk follows the scenic coastal path towards Pwll Du, offering sweeping views of the rugged Gower coastline and the Bristol Channel. From there, the route climbs inland through the tranquil surroundings of Bishopston Valley, passing through the wooded landscapes of Hareslade. Continuing on, the walk heads towards Owen’s Field and Holtsfield, two distinctive chalet communities tucked away within the secluded setting of Bishop’s Wood. These hidden settlements provide a fascinating glimpse into a unique part of Gower’s heritage, surrounded by woodland, wildlife, and peaceful countryside far removed from the busier coastal paths.
