This walk is approximately 6.5 miles and will take a path up to the trig point on Graig Fawr via St Illtyd’s Walk, which offers stunning views of the Loughor Estuary. Graig Fawr forms part of an extensive open common land which is a Site of Interest for Nature Conservation. The walk will then cross heathland and grassland and ascend Cefn Drum with more views of North Gower in the distance and back to our starting point.
Most of the route will be on good paths, however there is an area which may be a bit boggy in parts, particularly after rainfall. We will make stops for refreshments, so bring a packed lunch. As it is a residential road, it may be a good idea to spread out the parking along the road.
